The queen of bakes is back at A POPP Day Out 👸🎂 Baked is the brain-child of Fran Farrugia, who has been whipping up bespoke unique cakes and bakes for the past 9 years, constantly striving to offer wholesome homemade bakes with a twist. From stroopwafel brownies to helwa tat tork cakes, you’re defo in for a treat by Baked 💥

GORGOBOT

Gorgobot splices soulful sounds and deep & bassy beats. Malta-based DJ spinning Electro, Downtempo and House spliced with Retro, World beats and much more. His mixes are journeys through unlikely genres brought together in the service of oscillating waves of arse-shaking energy.

EARTHROCKER

Creator, owner and operator of Island Rockers Sound system, Earthrocker has been at the forefront of the Dub and Reggae scene in Malta through many collaborations with both local and foreign artists and promoters. As a resident DJ and MC with Bass Culture, Earthrocker has built a solid reputation to deliver high energy performances, merging together various music styles that fall within the Dub genre.

ISLAND ROCKERS SOUND

Island Rockers Sound System is Malta’s first craft-built, home-made sound system, run by Mark, the mad professor of sound culture in Malta. Running for the past 9 years, you can find this sound system powering some of the island’s best quality oriented events from reggae and dub to techno.

These handcrafted DIY kits come in five flavours and are a cost effective and fun way to make your own top shelf gin. Each flavour is fine tuned and original. We will be at the POPP pleasing long time gin drinkers and converting the newbies. Come on down and learn the process of gin making at our stall and have a sip as well! Happy ginning!

WHITE OWL GEMS

The jourey for this shop originally started as a thought to do my own jewelry, and focusing on creating ear weights (which are particularly hard to find in the Maltese Islands) using various stones from Mother Earth. I found myself buying a variety of stones which allowed me to get creative, thus designing unique products which I could rock myself. This finally worked its way into being what I wanted to share with the rest of the world, as White Owl Gems. Offering various items such as ear weights, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, stones, and candles.

CHERRYSTONE

Cherrystone is a small thrift shop located in Msida. It opened to encourage people to thrift, to choose second hand, because I believe that we should be more aware of what we are buying and be less driven to consume and consume fast fashion without giving it a second thought.
