Primitivo di Manduria
The grapes are generally harvested in the middle of September, giving them a very light over-ripening as required by the DOP Manduria. Aging in French oak barrels combined with the organoleptic characteristics of the wine give the nose notes of ripe cherry, red fruit and strawberry jam, adding a slight persistent finish due to the soft tannins extracted from the barrique.
