Tripel Karmeliet

3.10

Since 1996, Triple Karmeliet has been brewed by the Brouwerij Bosteels in Belgium. Based on a recipe from 1679, it won the World’s Best Beer Award in 2008 at the World Beer Awards. The special feature of this tripel is the composition of the malts, which in addition to the classic barley malt is the addition of both wheat and oats. Tripel Karmeliet is a very balanced beer. The lightness and freshness of the wheat malt and the creaminess of the oat produce a fine silky texture.
