Monk’s Stout Dupont

2.90

The Monk’s Stout Dupont is part of the Brewery Dupont’s history. Indeed, it was produced in the 50’s. The aim is to revive this stout while maintaining the name and the design of the time.

Created in 2011, this dark beer is characterized by a dry and bitter taste. The use of roasted malts lends a well-pronounced taste of coffee and chocolate. The hop flavours remain perceptible though. Top fermentation beer with a refermentation in the bottle.

Brasserie Dupont
Brasserie Dupont

Founded in 1950, Brasserie Dupont is on a working farm which dates back to 1759 and has significant brewing history. In the 1990s, a bread bakery and cheese-making facility were added. Historically, their best-selling beer was the Moinette Blonde. However, the popularization of the Saison Dupont by their American importer in the 1980s led to great international popularity for this beer, which provides a link to the historic farmhouse ales of the region.
