Cuvée Saint Vincent Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Chateau Ascumbas has a long history in the region, named after the Latin name for Saint-Emilion which was given to the region during the time of Roman poet Ausone rumoured to have owned 100ha of vines back in the day. Dry wine with lively acidity, round, warm, powerful. Tannins are high but well integrated. The flavour of berries, red fruit, spices, violet flowers, liquorice, and oak with a long finish.
