The steep slope and thin soil of this sun-drenched Climat are key to Beauroy’s balanced wines. Their smooth texture, acidity and minerality intertwine to produce rich and powerful wines, dominated by fruity aromas. They can be enjoyed young, although their soft acidity gives them a 6 to 8 years’ ageing potential.

Marguerite Carillon
For three generations, the Domaine Marguerite Carillon has been vinifying and maturing its wines in the village of Meursault. The vineyard, very fragmented, extends over the Côte-de-Beaune. Over the years, the property has developed on the Côte-de-Nuits. The whole estate is conducted in reasoned viticulture. The vinification is classic and respects
the traditional Burgundian scheme. All operations are done by gravity. The objective is to respect the grape and to intervene as little as possible so that the terroir expresses itself best for each appellation.
