Ricard Pastis 1L

Ricard Pastis is a French anise-flavoured liqueur that is often enjoyed as an after-dinner drink. It is made with a blend of herbs and spices, including anise, liquorice, and fennel.

Ricard Pastis has a long history dating back to the 19th century when it was first created by Paul Ricard. Today, Ricard Pastis is still produced in France and is one of the most popular spirits in the country.

Ricard Pastis can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but it is most commonly mixed with water. When diluted with water, the liqueur turns a cloudy white colour, which is why it is sometimes referred to as “milk of Ricard.” Ricard Pastis is also a popular ingredient in cocktails, such as the classic French 75.

Ricard Pastis is massively popular with the French. This is Marseille’s answer to Pernod, and is best served long with still mineral water and plenty of ice – a great aperitif.
