Repeater III Gin
For the latest installment in our ongoing REPEATER series, we set out to create a coffee gin with an unusual flavor profile. To do so, we teamed up with our long-time friends from Chicago, Dark Matter Coffee, and German gin cardinal, Heiko Hoos. DMC provided some of their amazing Bavarian wheat yeast fermented Cautai coffee beans from Guatemala, which Heiko then skillfully distilled in his lab in Karlsruhe, following a challenging but fun test and tweak process.

Phantom Spirits is a council established to disrupt the new world spirits order by infiltrating the purveyors of injustice by the way of the shadow. Phantom Spirits was born out of the ashes of the long standing Mikkeller/Copenhell spirit collaboration, a sinister-themed annual release, spearheaded by former Events and Communications manager Mixen Lindberg. Launched in late 2016 by Mixen Lindberg, Frederik Plum, owner of Den Klodsede Bjørn Vodka, and Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, as a way of pursuing the many ideas and concepts that were developed during the creative process in conjuring up these, often provocative, heavy metal spirits, Phantom Spirits entered the scene with their progressive beer barrel aging rum project, and are currently knee deep in multiple collaborations with different producers within the fields of spirits, beer, wine, food, and more. Expect the unexpected.
